Level 91 is looking for an experienced mid-senior Web Developer for a permanent full-time position.
Located in the Melbourne CBD we are a small team of professionals that serve many small to medium organisations with web design, graphic design, web development, and multimedia solutions.
You will work alongside our creative team turning designs into functional sites. We use in-house and third party CMS packages, along with other database-driven web applications as needed for each project.
You display a thorough understanding of client-side DHTML/ DOM scripting (implementing CSS, JavaScript, and XML) along with a good knowledge of integrating server-side PHP/MySQL into site templates. Additional experience with ASP/NET or JSP is a plus, as well as previous work with Smarty templates or CMS technologies.
This role requires imagination, lots of enthusiasm and the ability to work closely with a small team. We are looking for someone who is seeking a long term career in web development. Hard work will be rewarded and the right candidate will have the opportunity to progress to a senior role.
Skills/knowledge required:
- Advanced CSS, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, XML
- PHP 4 / 5 & MySQL
- 3+ years demonstrated experience producing commercial grade work
- Understanding of CMS technologies and templates
- Ability to learn new technologies
- Bonus: Smarty template experience
- Bonus: ASP or ASP.NET and MS SQL Server;
- Bonus: JSP/Tomcat or similar;
